Anywhere But Here always gets me. It’s not an inherently sad movie, but the relationship between Susan Sarandon and Natalie Portman reminds me of the relationship I had with my mother when I was a growing up. That was fun when I first saw the movie, but it’s bittersweet now that my mom is gone.
