Hell, yes. And I’m glad that Apatow took the criticism of his focus on the bromance seriously and is giving us female-centered comedy.
Kristen Wiig is hilarious. I am so excited to see this I can’t even stand it!
YES YES YES. With 3 of my best girlfriends. It might not be a perfect film, but as a writer trying to break into comedy, I can’t overstate how important it is to go see this movie and give it a big opening weekend. Every decision Hollywood makes about what movies to greenlight is a business decision, and fair or not, female-driven comedies don’t usually open well. So if we want to see more (and better) options, we have to support the ones that are thrown our way.
I second the earlier comment about being happy Judd Apatow seems to have listened to criticism and given women a chance. Plus I love Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph. I think it’s going to be great.
